Terms of service

1. Agreement. These Terms govern your use of sheetshare.com and SheetShare memberships (the "Service"). By using the Service or buying a membership, you agree to these Terms, our Refund & Cancellation Policy and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility and accounts. You must be the age of majority where you live. You are responsible for your account, your login email, and all activity under it. Memberships are for one person; do not share login access.

3. Membership and billing. Memberships are billed annually in advance through Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from Manage Plan on your account page; access continues through the end of the paid term. We may change prices for future terms with advance notice. Refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

4. License to templates. While your membership is active, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download, copy, modify and use our templates for your own personal or internal business purposes, including work you do for your employer or clients. Files you downloaded during an active membership may continue to be used under this license after it ends. You may not resell, sublicense, redistribute, publish or share the templates or their download links, or offer them as templates, in whole or in part.

5. Delivery. Templates are delivered digitally, typically as a link that creates your own copy in Google Drive or as an Excel download. Nothing is shipped. See our Digital Delivery policy.

6. Not professional advice. Templates, examples and content are for general informational and educational purposes. They are not financial, investment, tax, accounting or legal advice. Example figures and benchmarks are illustrative estimates. You are responsible for your inputs, for checking outputs, and for decisions you make using them.

7. Acceptable use. Do not misuse the Service, including by scraping, bulk-downloading for redistribution, circumventing access controls, introducing malicious code, or violating any law or third-party right.

8. Intellectual property. The Service, the SheetShare name, and our original templates and content are owned by SheetShare or its licensors. Third-party names and trademarks referenced on the site belong to their owners and are used for identification only; their use does not imply affiliation or endorsement.

9. Third-party services. The Service relies on providers including Shopify (store), Stripe (payments) and Google (file delivery). Their terms govern your use of their services, and we are not responsible for their availability.

10. Disclaimer of warranties. The Service and all templates are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not warrant that templates are error-free.

11. Limitation of liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, SheetShare will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

12. Indemnification. You agree to indemnify and hold SheetShare harmless from claims arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Service or templates.

13. Termination. We may suspend or end access for breach of these Terms. Sections 4 (post-term use only if you were in good standing), 6, 8, 10, 11, 12 and 14 survive termination.

14. Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Missouri, unless applicable consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim where you live.

15. Changes. We may update these Terms by posting a new version with a new date. Material changes apply from your next renewal. Continued use after an update means you accept it.
